When you are in middle school the school offers outdoor sports such as baseball, basketball, football and many more. But when kids put hard work time and effort they can become one of the best players than anybody as seen. But when you are in a school activities you have to have good grades.
Passing grades such as A's,B's, and C,s can allow you to be able to play the sport you want to play but if you have under any of those letter grades your chance of playing a sport and trying to make a career will be very slim chances. When young athletes become adults they can apply for professional sports but when the NCAA goes through your reputation in school that can impact you if you were excelling or not. That was stated on NewsWorks.org. Because of that when you were a child and you received scholarships and sponsors those may not help if you were the best athlete ever.
Not just the school cares about your grades. Your parents do just as much. Most parents care because they want you to have good grades if so that can impact your future and let's you have a good life when they get older. But if you don't have good grades the parent might even take you out before any of the coaches. Also grades are not the only thing that will affect your career it is your personality or character. If you are the best athlete but you are very disrespectful and always get in trouble that will probably not make the NCAA happy.
As you proceed in trying to be successful at school and sports you have to always try your best so that you can make a career out of what you want to do. So whenever you want to have a good job when you get older you will have to excel in school to be a pro athlete.
Malik: "Why do young athletes have to excel in school I order to play sports?"
Mrs. Seigendorf: "Because athletics always have to come to an end so you have to have something to back you up in the future if you can't play professionally."
