Good news coffee lovers, today must be your lucky day! Research has shown over the last few years that people who drink at least one cup of coffee per day, are 21% less likely to develop liver cancer. So, those of you who don't drink coffee, don't let this information go in one ear and right out the other! Take action, go out to the store, by coffee, and start drinking. In June of 2014, scientists published a report about their research. According to this report, liver cancer is the second most common type of cancer. This form of cancer is responsible for 746,000 people worldwide in 2012. This number is increasing. Updated statistics show, approximately 626,162 patients have been diagnosed with a form of liver cancer. This number has increased by 2012 and reached 782,451. Science experts believe that this amount will increase by 70% reaching a mind blowing 1,341,344 people in year 2035. According to www.wallstreetotc.com , "The scientists were excited to discover that certain compounds found in coffee can strengthen the immune system. This happens due to the fact that these coffee compounds induce the endogenous defense system. One of the enzymes that are being produced is called UDP- glucuronosyltransferase. This important enzyme helps mitigate the damaging effects of toxins like aflatoxin B1" This information helped scientists to come up with the solid answer that just drinking one cup of coffee per day will help reduce the likeliness of developing liver cancer by an amazing 21%. Just imagine this percentage if people drink more than one cup of joe per day! Researchers also found that, '“Induced DNA repair capacity by constituents of coffee may also exert chemopreventive effects.” The new study shows that coffee can help reduce DNA damage of the blood cells and lowers the ex-vivo DNA damage.' According to the website www.wallstreetotc.com. Now, don't listen to people who say "Coffee is terrible in every way!" or "You should NEVER drink coffee, it is only bad for your body! It will help you in no way at all." Because now you know that coffee is doing something good for you body! |
