There are millions of people who read the same book and have different views on what the appearance of a character. The article says " if the actor isn't measure up to the character you imagined when reading the book then their disappointment involved. Like when there was ruckus when the Fifty Shades Of Grey cast was reveled." Article also says " Without the power of visuals, books allow readers to put together the story elements in their minds while movies tend to overdue visuals." This statement makes a lot of sense because books do let you be more creative by letting you create your own visual of what something could look like. Books are also very detailed and movies tend to leave out a couple scenes or multiple lines to make it fit in the hours of the movie. Mean not that people complain how the movie isn't like to book because of the multiple changes they make or leave out. People wouldn't be mad if you keep the good scenes in and phrases because that what we want and like.
People debate that books give you feeling more then movies. Like when a character in a book gets hurt or die you really feel drawn towards that character. Many books help educate you with knowledge and good use of vocabulary. This is why teacher/parents tell you to read a lot because kids tend to lack the English language so reading can really improve that. Another way books are better is by the way you can let you imagination go wild from you way of the world in the book. Books about movies give you more details and can give you a good sense of what the characters are really like while movies get a little lost or lack details.
Movies are better because books take forever to read especially when you have a lot of homework and activities. The article in debate says " In movies you can see all of the action that's going on, visualize everything that's happening but in a book you can't really do that. Yes, you can imagine what is happening in the book but if you don't have a good imagination or don't understand the book then that's not really helpful." Movies are more understanding then books. Like if the book is confusing to some one then seeing it in visual form would actually make better sense. Books can be complicated by the amount of vocabulary in it while movies have actors who act out scenes in a movie so if a character said a word/phrase you would be able to understand by the reactions of others and how the character said it. The love of movies is you get to hangout with your friends/families but nobody would come over just to talk or read books.
What is a book you have read and seen in theaters? Which on was better? Why do you think that version was better? What made that version better? The girls I interviewed were Savanna and Katie and they anwsered these questions one what they thought was better. Katie said " the book I have seen in theaters was 'The Giver' and I like the movie better then the book. I think it is better because I think it is more realistic to me and possible and I like seeing it happen Prather then wondering what the characters look like. Seeing action on screen and being able to make sense of the story line more." Savanna said " I saw the Hunger Games in theaters and I liked the movie better then the book. I thnik I can visualize it better, so I understand it more then the book."
People still debate about movies being better then books or books being better then movies. Books and movies can be really different by people's opinions but are so similar in many ways. For example movies & books create a suspenseful feel, action and mystery to their stories to get you attached and wanting more. That's what books and movies are suppose to do. They get you attached, connected with the characters and that's what makes you love it so much. No matter which one you like most it just depends on what interest you to love it which is the the whole point of writing books and making movies. I think the amount of people who think books are better then the movies or movies are better then the books are pretty much even because it depends on what you like. It also depends on the movie/book and what you thought was easier or more interesting. Books and movies depend on if you need a visual to really understand or if you need a large amount of detailed words to make it easier. That more of why you think one is better then the other.
