Archeologists are always itching to find something new or interesting to share with the world and currently in the ancient city of Teotihuacan in Mexico a lot of ancient secrets have been stirring up.
Over time, more and more artifacts have been showing up but we can never find all of them. They'll be here for many years to come for future generations to find. Those generations may be confused with what they find but it will make for good research for them. I think it's good that they're finding the lost treasures, if they get lucky they'll find something valuable or even something history changing. I wanted not just my own opinion on the topic so I interviewed Brooke, a student here at CSMS.
"What do you think about digging up lost treasures? Is it good or bad?"
"Good, because it's finding new things that could help."
"Will digging these things up affect the future? How?"
"Yeah, cause we're finding new things that could change the future."
"How do you feel about digging up old artifacts?"
"Well it doesn't really affect me any."
I can see how she thinks this will affect the future due to finding things that could make it better and I also see what she means when she says we can find things that help because lots of things can help.
